Privacy Policy

ALS Consulting ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients and their candidates' data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect two categories of information when you engage our services:

• Client contact information — name, email, phone, title, company name, and billing location submitted via the intake form
• Hiring data — CSV files containing candidate records submitted for bias analysis. This data may include demographic fields (race, gender, age) and hiring outcomes

2. How We Handle Hiring Data

Protecting candidate privacy is central to our process. All hiring data submitted to ALS Consulting is anonymized immediately upon receipt, before any analysis occurs:

• Candidate IDs and names are replaced with irreversible anonymized tokens
• Date fields are reduced to month/year granularity to prevent re-identification
• Anonymized data is used only for the purpose of conducting the requested bias audit
• Raw, un-anonymized hiring data is never stored in our systems

3. How We Use Your Information

Client contact information is used solely to:

• Deliver audit reports and findings to the correct contact
• Communicate with you about your engagement (status updates, clarifications)
• Send your completed audit report via email
• Respond to follow-up inquiries related to your audit

We do not use your information for marketing purposes without explicit consent, and we do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Submission data is stored in a secured database (Supabase/PostgreSQL) with access restricted to authorized ALS Consulting personnel only. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Audit findings are retained for 12 months after engagement completion to support follow-up inquiries, after which they are deleted.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to deliver our product:

• Supabase — database storage (EU/US data centers, SOC 2 compliant)
• SendGrid — transactional email delivery for audit reports
• Anthropic Claude API — AI analysis of anonymized hiring data

Each provider operates under its own privacy policy and data processing agreements. Data shared with these providers is limited to what is necessary to perform the service.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the information we hold about you
• Request deletion of your contact information and associated audit data
• Correct inaccurate contact information
• Withdraw consent for ongoing communications

7. Cookies

Our website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for business clients only. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18 years of age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
